The Texas Longhorns recruiting momentum is at an all-time high with Arch Manning officially committing earlier today. Who else is going to join him on the 40 acres? Find out below!

Johntay Cook

First up is Arch’s good friend and 5-star wide receiver Johntay Cook. Cook is taking an official visit to Austin this weekend and very well may end up a Longhorn before the visit ends. Many experts believed that Cook would follow Arch to Texas and that is very much still the case. Make sure to keep refreshing Twitter this weekend for Cook’s commitment.

Cedric Baxter Jr.

At one point it looked like Rueben Owens was a lock to be a Longhorn, but that changed when he committed to the Louisville Cardinals earlier this week. Now, Sark and staff have fully honed in on Edgewater running back Cedric Baxter Jr. The electric top 3 back has been the coaching staff’s main focus over the past few months, as Owens and Texas slowly drifted apart. With Manning officially apart of the class I could see Baxter Jr. committing to the Longhorns fairly quickly.

Mikal Harrison-Pilot

Last, but certainly not least is Mikal Harrison-Pilot. The 4-star athlete has always been high on Texas and with Manning in the fold that confidence has gone through the roof. Harrison-Pilot will be committing to Texas very, very soon. The tough decision he will have to make when he arrives on the 40 acres is, Will he play wide receiver or safety? Only time will tell for the top 150 athlete.

Arch Manning picking the Longhorns revived a mostly dule Texas Longhorns recruiting cycle. Adding Manning is obviously an impressive feat, but what’s more impressive is how much talent Manning will inevitably bring with him. There are numerous 5-star player (offensive and defensive) who are reconsidering Texas after Manning sent out his first and only tweet “Committed to the University of Texas. #HookEm“. Get ready for some fireworks on the recruiting trail over the next few weeks. Texas (recruiting) is finally back!
