The 2023 recruiting cycle is still ongoing. However, the 2024 recruiting cycle is just starting to heat up with most high school football seasons coming to an end. Steve Sarkisian, Jeff Choate and the rest of this Texas Football staff are already gaining some traction in this 2024 cycle.
Dylan Williams was offered by the Texas Longhorns on November 3rd. He was in attendance for the TCU game last weekend and Texas did not disappoint him.
Williams committed to the University of Southern California April 11th, 2022. He then decommitted October 18th, 2022.
Dylan Williams is a 6’2-1/2” 205 pound linebacker from Long Beach, California. Williams currently ranks as the 12th linebacker and 111th overall recruit in the 2024 class, per on3 consensus.
Co-Defensive Coordinator and off-ball linebackers coach, Jeff Choate has done a phenomenal job in the 2023 class adding a few talented linebackers. Continuing that trend in the 2024 class is important.
A player of Dylan Williams caliber would be a massive win for the Texas staff. Prying him away from USC and Lincoln Riley would just be the cherry on top.
